Students will learn about and explore a variety of different art mediums in both 2D and 3D. ","\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>The Studio Arts program has a $25 course fee.\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch2>Highlights\u003C\u002Fh2>\u003Cul>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>At the beginning, students will assemble a sketchbook. This sketchbook will be used throughout the year to practice their skills and journal their creative explorations.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Students will learn about and explore a variety of different mediums in both 2D and 3D. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>A new medium and techniques will be introduced about every 4 weeks, depending on the pace and need for the class. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>After the medium and techniques have been practiced, students will choose their area of interest, and create their own unique work of art.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>Students will be allowed to use the classroom as their own personal studio space. They will have access to a wide variety of different materials that they can utilize.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>During the 2nd semester, students will assemble and host an art gallery showcase. This will give them the opportunity to share their finished pieces with members of our community.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fli>\u003Cli>\u003Cp>At the end of the year, students will build an art portfolio.
